Matthew J. Chung

Matthew J. Chung, Esq., earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from California State University, Northridge in 2015 and received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2018. During law school, Mr. Chung participated in the Global Justice Program where he worked in the Family Law Division of the High Court of Uganda, assisted victims of Hurricane Harvey through the Disaster Relief Clinic and provided support through the FEMA application process after the Thomas Fire. Mr. Chung also served as an Executive Editor for the Dispute Resolution Law Journal.

Prior to joining The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, he gained legal experience through the public interest sector. Mr. Chung externed for the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Civil Mediation Project, and was a law clerk at a Family Law Center and an Immigration Law Firm. Additionally, he has volunteered at various legal aid clinics throughout Southern California. Mr. Chung remains committed to serving and assisting his community as he believes his law degree is meant to be used to help others to the best of his ability.
