Matthew Pool

Facing difficult divorce and family law matters can leave individuals feeling lost or overwhelmed. Working with representation that is both diligent and caring can make all of the difference. Matthew Pool is a Junior Associate Attorney for Stange Law Firm, PC, serving clients from the Ellisville, Missouri office.

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He also minored in History and Psychology. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa. While in law school, he was a Law Student Ambassador and won the George A. Justice Law Student Ambassador of the Year Award in 2020. He was also an AAJ Trial Team Member and participated in the Board of Advocates Negotiation Competition and the Trial Skills Qualifier Competition. Matthew is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri.

While earning his undergraduate degree, Matthew worked at the Missouri State Capitol as a Legislative Assistant. He managed the communication for Representatives Randy Pietzman and Tim Remole. He aided in the legislative process by producing bill proposal packets for committees, and organized the Representatives’ schedules while fielding calls from constituents. While in law school, he also gained experience working for the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office as a Legal Intern. While there, he managed the Press Pause Department and oversaw outreach to Tulsa’s parolee population. Matthew also attended arraignment hearings, prepared felony files, and managed the Public Defender-District Attorney Supervision Program.

In his free time outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Julie, and their cat, Lady. He also spends time playing guitar, reading about history, hiking, and also enjoys cooking, especially baking sourdough bread and making his own hot sauce.
