Attorney Biography
I am licensed in California and Nevada. I have 25+ years experience in Criminal Law.
I received a BA in Political Science, University of Southern California. I received my Juris Doctorate at Pepperdine University. During my 3rdyear of law school, I studied at Oxford University in London.
I started my career as a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County for 5 years in the City of Compton. I was then a Deputy District Attorney in Washoe County, Reno, Nevada. I have served as Judge Pro Tem in both Los Angeles and Washoe counties.
I am currently a Criminal Defense Attorney in Nevada and California. I have been in private practice for 19 years.

Specifically, in regards to representation of individuals accused of cultivating, possessing, trafficking, and issues regarding medical marijuana… I have extensive experience. I have been a member for over 15 years and have extensive experience in marijuana cultivation cases, and possession of large amounts of marijuana for sale. I have recently been successful in defending transportation in excess of 100 pounds of marijuana and other numerous marijuana cases and obtained results in which the defendant received no felony conviction and no probation.
I am intimately familiar with medical marijuana laws in both California and Nevada. I have also been highly successful in representing those charged with driving under influence of marijuana and getting those charges dismissed as a result of the clients having a medicinal marijuana card.
This June, 2013, Nevada passed Senate Bill 374 which allows for medical marijuana establishments in the State of Nevada. This allows for the issuance of medical marijuana dispensaries in the State and allows those individuals to cultivate marijuana.
My expertise is in representing individuals who have been charged with marijuana related criminal acts. I also have experience in defenses in criminal acts based upon the current laws in both Nevada and California. I am also familiar with what the legal limits are in Nevada and California and how to maneuver successfully a defense for individuals who have on their possession greater amounts that those delineated by law.
