I hired this law firm to assist with a custody modification. The attorney I was assigned created a flat fee agreement to complete the modification. This attorney subsequently left the Moceri law firm without completing the modification. Mike Moceri assured me that he was hiring another attorney thTbwould be assigned to my case. 3 weeks later, I receive a call after calling them several times and being told the news attorney was getting caught up on calls. The new attorney tells me at the beginning of the call that he and Mike discussed my case and decided that the agreement was completed. He went on to say that I would need to deposit $4,500 as a retainer to continue with the firm. I couldn’t believe my ears. I have a signed agreement, had paid months ago and still have no custody modification. When I Complained, Mike chose to contact my newly hired attorney and gave him a sob story about spending more than he had charged me. Not my problem. The unprofessional way in which this was handled and the lack of awareness regarding what agreements his attorneys are making is shocking. Stay clear of Moceri Law Group!
